Our Story
Starting out in the 80s as a furniture merchant in Cirebon, a district in West Java that is famous for rattan processing industries, we managed to build partnerships with some of the furniture craftsmen in the district. In the early years, we supply several furniture shops in Jakarta and Bandung with a wide variety of natural rattan furniture handmade by our partners in Cirebon.
In effort to support and develop partnerships with many more small-scale wicker furniture craftsmen, IMN established a wood working workshop to manufacture wooden frames for rattan furniture.
It turned out that this innovation made IMN grows rapidly and become a pioneer in the rattan furniture business. Adaptive and flexible, the company able to develop new designs rattan furniture for its clients.
Backed up by in-house manufacturing wooden frames combined with a large network of wicker furniture craftsmen in West Java, IMN manage to supply several furniture exporters in West and Central Java.
Synthetic rattan and aluminum
The new pinacle of the company expansions occurred in 2001 when the company established synthetic rattan factory and aluminum welding facility in Jl. Ki Ageng Tapa, Astapada. Re-established as PT. Indonesia Manufacturing Network, the company sets a new strategy to fully support its craftsmen network by procuring raw materials and hardwares. This allows the company to strictly control the product quality to meet company standard and customer expectations.
Our synthetic rattan factory produces weather resistant, UV tested rattan fibers using non toxic polyethylene. Available in various types the synthetic rattan designed to look like natural rattan with some color variations throughout the material.
Certified by Bureau Veritas the factory become the primary source for the synthetic rattan fiber used to build all-weather wicker furniture by the craftsmen network.
The company also supply several large furniture manufacturers in Indonesia.

Aluminum welding facility
In providing any required raw materials that are beyond the capabilities of its craftsmen partners, IMN established an aluminum welding facility to manufactures the furniture frames. The company is also upgrade the woodworking tools and the production capacity of its wooden frames manufacturing facilities.
The combination of a labor-intensive wicker industries in Cirebon, a synthetic rattan factory, a wood and aluminum frame manufacturing facility, allowing IMN to supply various types of furniture to its customers in a container shipment.
